Survey: Do you know your contacts well enough to call them friends?
Some of them I consider very good friends, others I do not know well enough, but they seem to be great people! I think it depends how often you keep in touch and how well you know them, and if you generally care about them! I never realized when joining YA, that I woulod meet such terrifiic people!
Reply:A few are definitely close friends that are now a part of my life even off of Yahoo. We talk on the phone and mail cards and gifts to each other.


Others are good friends on Y!A, but not in my daily life and others I hardly know at all.


I do have friends that I am getting to know better, but aren't contacts.
Reply:Not really knowing any of them that well I would say they are my y!a friends that I would miss them were they not here and I admire their wit and respect them as people with similar interests. If more comes of it great, one can never have too many friends.
Reply:The term friend has many meanings. For my contacts some are friends in spirit since I have never met them and probably never will yet I have gotten attached to them.
Reply:People can actually be different than how they behave here, but their real personality is known through their answering and questioning for a long time.





Yes, I can call my contacts friends.
Reply:Um...no, I don't know them very well. But everyone is my friend. I'm not selective at all, I'm desperate. I have an opening for a best friend...but no one has applied as of yet.
Reply:mine know me as well as ANY friend and are more apt to be there when the chips are down
