Survey: Are you the one all of your friends go to for advice?

If yes..do you find it quite irritating when they DONT FOLLOW your advice?





And, isnt it also quite irksome, that when you need advice...NONE of your friends have A CLUE how to help you?

well, surprisingly they do. i'm not sure why, but yeah i try to tell them what i think, and in the end it's up to them... and yes, most of them follow my advices
Reply:i am the one they come to for advice!!!and it can be a lil irratating when they dont take it but its not really a big deal!!im just glad they feel that they can come to me that makes me feel like im a trustworthy friend!!and i usually dont go to alot of my friends for advice bc there lives are just as screwed up as mine if not more!!we all kinda help eachother cause we all go through the same thing!!
Reply:yes; i hate it when people bother me for advice, but then tell me they couldn't follow it.

i end up following my own advice when i need it.

Reply:sometimes they come to me for advice...it depends on the friend...and i have a friend that is always there when i need advice
Reply:everyone comes to me with problems. Some times I dont know why I bother trying to give advice. People just do whatever the hell they want anyway. I pretty much just keep my problems to myself now.
Reply:They do come to me and they usually do follow my advise, my track record I guess taught them to.





I've asked for help from my friends sometimes and they help me a bit, but definitely not a lot.
Reply:Somehow, its rpetty much like they ask me for advice mroe than I ask them. and yes I can follow all of their stories.
Reply:yes, and it;s a little irrating, but when they dont ake my advice they get themselves in a worse spot then what they were, so it makes me try hard not to say told you so. lol

Reply:A lot of people come to me for advice because I have gone through a lot of things. It bugs the crap out of me when they ask for it but think that I am 'wrong'. Why did they even ask then? If I have gone through it shouldn't I know??? Maybe I should make them pay 50 cents for my advice!! I bet they would feel bad then!!! :]
Reply:I'm a professional social worker and my friends come to me for advice...and no it doesn't bother me because I'm just trying to give them another perspective. But if they're going to hurt themselves, someone else or financially ruin themselves then I usually take stronger action.





As for needing their advice, I turn to the Church, my Counselor or my wife.
