Survey: Do you feel like you know your friends on Y/A as well as most of your friends you interact with?

It feels as though I know some better than my friends I see daily. (expressing yourself through a message isn't easy for most people)

Survey: Do you feel like you know your friends on Y/A as well as most of your friends you interact with?
better on here as you get to choose the times you see and speak on here ,, in life sometimes you dont want someone around and have to lock the door lol,,


seriously,, for some its easier not to have to look at the person ,,and you have to communicate and ask and answer in order to find things out on here or the conversation dries up .


i have friends in life have been here from the start..


but i have friends on here i want for the rest of my life xx
Reply:I have met some that have become great friends. They actually take an interest in me and who I am. I feel appreciated. I also take an interest in them and we are learning more about each other all the time.


My friends in my daily life don't really take the time to care how I am and what's going on in my life. They are more the type to complain about how things are going in their lives.


My Y!A friends are real friends. We share laughs, sadness and much more.

I have close contact with most of my 15 contacts.


I keep my contacts #'s low and have never had a problem.


I could sit down %26amp; be very comfortable with half of them.


I have researched %26amp; communated with them long enough to know we would click in person.


I love my contacts. I have met Sarge in person %26amp; he was all that he portrays on line. ~~ A wonderful retired soldier.
Reply:i definately feel closer to my contacts then i do people i know in person...people on here feel more relaxed abd enjoyable...maybe cuz you dont feel threatened on here...plus i am a fun loving jokster...thei forum and my contacts feel the same..some of the [people i know around my real life dont take me that way...they dont know what having fun means
Reply:Some of my YA contacts. We get to know each other through messages privately.





But not all of them. Some of them are only friends here via the screen and nothing more.

Reply:I have two friends that I met thru YA that I am closer with than anyone other than my husband. They are true friends and we share easily with one another.
Reply:I feel like I am way closer with my friends on yahoo answers, I can tell them anything and they never judge me like my Friends at school would. I feel like I can be myself and I like that.
Reply:Some of my Yahoo ones I am now getting to know quite well...And they are easier to get on with...And politer than day to day friends ....
