Definitely getting ready for a date takes longer, by at least 30 minutes. The reason, you are really trying to impress your date, you want to be as perfect as you can possibly be, and the added stress of being a bit nervous.


When you are getting ready to go out with friends, you are comfortable, not nervous, and ready to have a good time, you know exactly the look you are going for, and don't have a problem achieving it.
Reply:Actually about the same...I always like looking nice no matter what, whether going out on a date or just casually going out.


I take about 10-15 min for a shower.


About 10-15 min for make-up and 15 min for hair. So usually about 30-45 min to get ready in total.


Hair is usually what takes the longest for me, sometimes it takes 5, sometimes 20...I never know what to do with it. ;P
Reply:when u go out w/ friends its normal so u can get up and go at any time ! but if it is a date and ur a girl it takes long enough to get nice clothes on, fix hair, and put on make-up ! but im not a girly-girl so i can be ready in less than 30 min.
Reply:Yeah, perhaps an extra 15 minutes- redoing nail polish (if I am wearing any), perfecting make up and hair, trying out different outfits, looking at myself from behind in the mirror to see which pants make my bum look cuter, etc.
Reply:Since I am married, same amount of time!! :) LOL Biggest contributor of this delay of getting ready period is always the hair!! :) :)

Perfecting hair, and make for damn sure you are wearing the right clothes is what I would do with this extra time.
Reply:The only thing that makes a difference is if im going to straighten my hair.


I go about the same way to get ready so it takes me like ten minutes typically.

cuz wen I goes on me a date, I gots to take the extra time to brush my teeth and put on some deodorant.
