Dating Angst 101 Survey: How do you let someone know in a subtle way that you are romantically interested?

THIS ISN'T FOR ME, I'M A PRETTY DIRECT WOMAN AND WILL JUST ASK A GUY OUT.... this is for a friend who is not as gutsy.





So, what do I tell this friend, how should they signal interest? What should they look for as signals that the person might be interested?





I already have my theories but am curious what the Polls %26amp; Survey crowd has to say on this....

Eye contact, sincere interest in his interests, great communication......I wouldn't be gutsy enough to ask a guy out, he'd have to do that part, or it would all just fall apart. I know a lot of people are comfortable asking guys out...I just wouldn't feel he wanted to be with me if I had to do the asking. Though, like I said, it does work for certain people.......especially if a shy guy is involved.
