Hot drinks or cold drinks survey?

I have a friend that does not drink hot drinks ever.I find that a little odd.My friend has not had a coffee,tea or hot coco in several years.I myself only drink a few cups of coffee a year ,but drink alot of hot tea.I just think it's odd that someone does not drink at least a hot drink once a year.What do you think?

I don't know, my mum and I both have a cup of hot tea every day, even when it's 100 degrees Fahrenheit outside, because it's a habit. Most people in this area find that rather odd. Some people don't drink hot drinks because of sensitive teeth, others just don't find them appealing. Other people want everything room temperature, some people really do want everything practically freezing. I worked in food service, so I saw every kind of drink preference, even the guy who would drink coffee, but only with 2 of those little cartons of milk poured into it in a big glass. I used to dread seeing him come in though, he was pretty picky about other things as well.

Reply:I think that what people drink and how much is strictly individual. I prefer cold drinks, even in winter, because I'm usually thirsty. I love iced tea, and iced coffee. I do however, enjoy hot coffee and hot cocoa at the same time! It just depends on my mood!

Reply:I drink cold stuff when Im hot. I drink cold stuff when Im cold. It doesnt matter to me even if I drink cold stuff in cold weather, because I only drink to quench the thirst. Who cares whether its hot or not.

Reply:i think your friend is odd as well unless he lives in a warm climate. that has a lot to do with your preference as well. here in the US, living in the northern states, "tea" is hot tea but in the southern states "tea" is actually iced tea so you would have to say "hot tea" if that's what you meant. but i love hot drinks at this time of year.

Reply:Most of the time, I drink hot coco or tea but never coffee. Maybe your friend doesn't have a taste for hot beverages.
Reply:absolutely hot drinks; tea,caffee ı think ,,because of winter... however, in summer ı can drink tea too.. there is drinking tea in our cultures ..ıt doesn't matther winter or summer..

Reply:I almost never drink hot drinks, probably less than once a year. No matter how careful I am, I usually burn my tongue, and I HATE that.





I don't eat pot pies for the same reason, and I am very careful with soups.





OTOH, I drink iced drinks and eat ice all the time....
